A New Chapter in Houston

I’m excited to share that I’ve joined CenterPoint Energy in Houston, TX as a Lead Data Scientist in Geospatial Intelligence. It’s a natural next step in a career spent at the intersection of data science and environmental stewardship — from aerosol research at NASA Langley, to methane and greenhouse-gas quantification at SeekOps, and now to building geospatial and machine learning capabilities for a more reliable and sustainable energy system.

I’ll use this space to share occasional notes on the work I care about: geospatial intelligence, applied machine learning, remote sensing, and the messy, rewarding process of turning real-world data into decisions.
